Uttarakhand Mandal of America (UMA) is 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization registered under the Laws of the State of California, United State of America.
The charter of Uttarakhand Mandal of America (UMA) is three-folds:
– Firstly, to promote the culture, heritage, language and values of the people of the state of Uttarakhand, India.
– Secondly, to aid socio-economic development of the people of Uttarakhand, India.
– Finally, to encourage education by providing monetary support as well as access to the tools of learning to underprivileged people of the state of Uttarakhand, India.
