We had a blast last year and walked away with the Best Appearance award for the Uttarakhand float! Join us this year as well for the India Day parade in Fremont. Dress up in your Pahadi/Indian clothes and jewelry to represent Uttarakhand. Kids can also dress up in Indian garments or an Army uniform. Pahadi topi and jewellery will be available for purchase. You can walk with the float or just be there to cheer the volunteers.

Uttarakhand Mandal of America (UMA) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization registered in the year 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA, under the Laws of the State of California, United States of America.
The objective of UMA is to nurture a strong network of Indian diaspora around the rich and diverse heritage of Uttarakhand state of India. It also includes to develop and implement impactful social upliftment program in Uttarakhand, India
